I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. He was a dear and long time friend of our family, including my parents, the late Tom and Donna Cox. All of our family, including my brothers and sisters have many fond memories of Bill and my Dad working on their boat business and Bill spending many afternoons in our backyard.

To my dear friend Bill and family, Bill was a good friend of mine for many years. I just talked to Bill on Sunday and was going to come out and visit on Thursday. I can't believe he's gone. Bill was a great friend and uncle and would do anything for you. He loved to ride his motorcycle he could hardly wait for the warm weather to get out and ride. I will miss you so much. It was with great sadness that I heard of Sgt. Zuzulas’ passing. He will always be Sgt. Zuzulas to me even though it is 35 years since I worked for him. In the three short years that I worked at Villa Park Police I learned so much from Sgt. Zuzulas and still use those lessons to this day on the job. I think back regularly on the many experiences I had when I first started out that involved Sgt. Zuzulas. Some are sad, some are disturbing, some a very funny. I have passed those same lessons on to other police officers I have worked with, trained and supervised over my 38 years on the job. So I say thank you Sgt. Zuzulas, for the many good things you have given to the many people you have touched over these many years. 132 will be 10-42.

Our deepest sympathies to Bill's family. Gregg and I have known Bill for 5 years. At first he was our neighbor, then friend and quickly became a member of our extended family. Bill had a great love for dogs...we know he loved our Bailey - who also feels our loss. We take comfort knowing Bill is happily free from all restraints he had here on earth and joyfully reuniting with his parents. Bill was a wonderful man who we miss dearly. God Bless Bill and his surviving family members.
With Love and Respect,
Mr. & Mrs. Gregg Backowski
