John Derdall Obituary
John Goodwin Derdall, 90, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, with Janet M. Derdall, his wife of nearly 70 years, by his side. A graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Theater Arts, John worked for major TV networks in Chicago, including WGN, NBC and CBS and was a life member of the United Scenic Artists Union, Local 829. After retirement, John served the Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades, in creation of the Retirement Fund. Arrangements by Hallowell and James Funeral Home in Countryside, IL.
