My sympathies to Bill's family. I had the pleasure of working for him for two summers way back in 1973-74 as vacation sub engineer at WTAQ, and reconnected with him to reminisce much more recently. He was a sincere and generous man, who deftly and gently presided over the cast of characters who worked at the station. I've never felt as much a part of a family at any job I've had since. Rest in peace, kind sir.

What a full and wonderful life he had! Although not related, he was Uncle Bill my entire life. I miss him greatly.

So many memories. I looked forward to Thursday Kiwanis when Bill and Les Larson would direct the singing. RIP

He would eat Oreo cookies and a glass of milk for lunch. I loved both Bill and Liz. We shared a houseboat one summer with them, , Jerry and Char. Evening cocktails and Bill on the keyboards. Wonderful memories!

I only had the privilege of meeting Bill once--at the wedding of his grandson, Stephen Dietrich, and my daughter, Ashley (Durham). But in that short time it became clear he was a man who lived life to the fullest, loved deeply and made the most of the opportunities placed in his path. What a wonderful example for all of us of a life well lived. May God grant us all the strength of character to leave such a legacy.

Dear renie, barb, Pam and Mary. I loved your parents so much. We will miss Bill's organ concerts! Love to all.
