William Luckring obituary, Glen Ellyn, IL

William Luckring Obituary

WILLIAM T. 'BILL ' LUCKRING William T. "Bill" Luckring, age 92, of Glen Ellyn since 1953. A proud WW II veteran who flew a P47 Thunderbolt over Europe. Survived by his children, Sue Szesny and Jim (Tanya); grandchildren, Matthew (Situ) Szesny, Emily (Max) England, Becky Gallina, Ellen (Andrew) Kruger, Diane and Jeff Luckring; great-great grandchildren, Katelyn; his sister-in-law, Vi and many nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by his wife, Marjorie, his brother, Dick Luckring and his sister, Helen Luckring. Bill worked for the Timken Roller Bearing Co. for his entire career and was an active member of the Glen Ellyn Kiwanis Club for over 50 years. Services were held Monday, April 8, 2013. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Donations to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, 493 Forest Ave. appreciated. For information call Leonard Memorial Home of Glen Ellyn, 630-469-0032.
