William Cech Obituary

William F. Cech, 90, of North Riverside, formerly of Stickney, passed away January 29 (2008). Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 1, from 3-9pm at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. DesPlaines Ave., North Riverside, IL, 60546. Funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 2 with a 10am Chapel Service at the funeral home followed by burial at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. William was born August 1, 1917. He was a retired owner of Bill's Meat Market at 63rd and St. Louis in Chicago. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. William was the Past President and member of the Pilsen Butchers Benevolent Assn., Masonic Lawn Lodge, Clearing Mens Club, Mooseheart and was a North Riverside Block Captain. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Irene (nee Markvart) Cech; 2 daughters Charlene Clark and Beverly (Ernest) Fortney; Sister Delores (Donald) Zitek; Brother Victor (Irene) Cech; Grandchildren Lisa (Jon) Froemel, Alyson (Eric) Haas, Justin (Susan Beal, Fiancee) Fortney, Corrine (Craig) Jamison; Great-Grandchildren Andrew & Nicolette Froemel and Hayden Haas.
