Died: December 26, 2025 in Phoenix, AZ
Steven Carl Youngdahl passed away of natural causes on December 26 in Arizona at age 61. Steve was born to Carl Arthur Youngdahl and Annabelle DeSwan Youngdahl in Elmhurst, Illinois, and was a happy and playful child. Steve graduated from York High School in Elmhurst; earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois; and brought his leadership wisdom and skill to Ernst and Young in Chicago, to Phoenix Children's Hospital in Arizona, and since June 2015, to ADP in Phoenix. As a volunteer, he served as Chairman of the Board for Grand Canyon Performing Arts and President of the Board for the Phoenix Storm Rugby Football Club. Steve loved to cook, and edited a book of family recipes. He is survived by his father, Art (Leticia), his brother Greg (Lisa), his sister Pat (Michal), his nephew Ben, and many dear friends and relations. Last rites and prayers of blessing were given during a small gathering of family and friends at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix.
