Sylvia Taylor Obituary
Sylvia Taylor passed away at her home on December 11, 2014.
She is survived by her many friends who shared in her love of music, dance and travels all over the world. Her happy nature was a joy to all who knew her. She will be remembered with love.
A memorial will be held on January 10, 2015, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst.

I met Sylvia at Spanish Class at the College of DuPage more than ten years ago. I found her to be delightful and we became friends. She invited my wife and I to a couple of her dance recitals and we were honored to be among the invited. Sylvia always talked about how much she enjoyed the Crystal Cruises. I wish we could have done one together.

Sylvia was a exceptional lady that gave many of us a clearer vision in what life's purpose should be. She added value by touching us, and keeping a growing group of friends together forever. Always enjoyed the time spent exchanging pleasurable conversations from a refined woman with class.

Sylvia was a wonderful Spanish dancer and we all enjoyed watching her recitals. We also enjoyed performing in her recitals while her providing time for her to change into the many beautiful authentic costumes she sewed. She was a wonderful patroness member of Oak Park Alumnae of Sigma Alpha Iota. She seemed to be ageless and will be missed.
