Lawrence Narjes Obituary
Born: August 1, 1940 in Berwyn, IL
Died: February 20, 2026 in Downers Grove, IL
Lawrence H. Narjes, 85, of Downers Grove is survived by his wife of 59 years, Becky(Burch) Narjes; his daughters, Lisa (and the late Timothy Benson); and Jessica (Kevin Mullin); his grandchildren, Garrett (Bruna) Mullin, Abbey Mullin, and Spencer Mullin; and his sister Dorothy (Fred Hansen and family). Larry proudly served his country in the Army Reserve. He was a heavy equipment Crane Operator, and a lifetime dedicated Union member of local 150.
A lifetime resident of Downers Grove, Illinois, Larry enjoyed tinkering with clocks, woodworking, and spending time with family. Larry chose to donate his body to science. Through this generous gift, he will continue to teach and serve future medical professionals for the next two years, after which he will be cremated.
Memorial gifts can be sent to Lurie's Children's Hospital in hopes to benefit the new Downers Grove location.
