Shaun Bancroft Obituary

BANCROFT - Shaun David, 45 of Brewster, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at home from small cell lung cancer. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Gallagher) Bancroft. He was born on November 13, 1959 in New Bedford, MA and attended school in Barnstable and at the Cape Cod Technical School. He is the son of the late Robert C. and June (Manssuer) Bancroft of West Barnstable, MA. Shaun was a pressman for Pairpoint Crystal Company, Inc. and was the former owner and operator of Vita Bac, Inc. He was an active member of A.A. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves one son, Jonathan Bancroft of Brewster, four brothers: Robert and Wife Lisa (Gallagher) Bancroft of West Barnstable, MA; Edward and wife Patricia (Cottam) Bancroft of Marion, MA; James and wife Cyndi (Eagar) Bancroft of Marstons Mills, MA and Eric and wife Rachel (Martineau) of West Barnstable, MA; three sisters: Valerie Kelly and husband Jim Kelly of Pembroke, MA; Eileen Neary and husband Paul Neary of Centerville, MA and June Bancroft of Portland, OR, the Mr. and Mrs. Leo F. Gallagher Family of Orleans,MA; Caroline Gallagher, Patty and David Bennett, Kathy and Richard Brimmer, Leo and Heidi Gallagher, Charles and Lisa Gallagher and Michelle Gallagher all of Orleans, MA and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joan of Arc Church, Canal Road, Orleans on Thursday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m., followed by his burial in Orleans Cemetery, Orleans, MA. His visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA. Memorial Donations may be made to the Joanthan A.
