Sandra Streadwick Obituary

Sandra Lee "Sandy" Streadwick, age 67, of Sandwich, IL passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, IL. She was born on August 6, 1940 in Berwyn, IL, the daughter of Frederick William and Ethel (Baker) Halfpenny. Sandra was united in marriage on June 30, 1962 in Geneva, IL to Mr Larry Streadwick and they have spent the next 48 happy years together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by both family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Larry Streadwick; her children, James (Diane) Koeritz of Leland, IL, Barbara (Marvin) Vestuto of Wautoma, WI, Cheryl Johnson of Tarpon Springs, FL, Stefanie Mila of Poplar Grove, IL, Carolyn Merle of Naperville, IL and Jennifer (Carlos) Payne of Yorkville, IL; her 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; her siblings Dennis (Sharon) Halfpenny, Karen Lamborghini, Pat (Nick) Davidson, Bill (Cathy) Halfpenny, Michael (Barbara) Halfpenny, Brett (Shelly) Halfpenny, Tracy (Diana) Halfpenny and Laurette (Michael) Howard ; brother-in-law, Bernie Virgili; and many, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Barbara Virgili. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory located at 1275 S. Countyline Rd. in Sandwich, Illinois. Interment is private.
