Dear Richie and Jody and Rudy and Jamie and family, May you comfort one another in the lose of your mom and believe you always have life to care for each other and live for your family. Your soul is rich and money to the soul of God in you. May your tears and joy be remembered in triumphing your soul to share God in you and no more crying in the head of God without love in the head of God. Sorry I never met you Mrs. Gotlund but you did leave behind your beautiful children and memories for them of you and Gold is their family. Dear Rich & sons, Sandie will be missed by many. But the love she has given to all will show, through you. Remember the good time and she will be happy because she knows you loved her.

I was so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. Sandy was a really wonderful person, always helping others. I worked as a postdoc in the Argonne HEP group from 2009 - 2012, and am very grateful for the help she gave me and the kindness with which she gave it. My deepest condolences.

Dear Dick and Family,
I have known Sandy for 60 years, since we were little ones,that I can remember. Thanks to the bonding and friendship our parents created for us.
She was always so much fun, we not only grew up together and remained friends but career changes took me away from Lemont and we still stayed so true and close that about 10 years ago Sandy decided we should be each others Sister, hence we called each other Sis.
Sandy was always full of energy and happiness and always offering to help out, the military, with care packages to her hobby projects, sewing, and baking her famous bread for the church fund raisers She had so much love for her family and husband and even taught me to cook some Polish style food which she learned from her Mom.
I will always remember Sandy with very fond memories and I am sorry I was not able to attend the funeral but prayers to her and your family are being said.
She is now with the Lord and she is resting peacefully and no more suffering from cancer.

She was a kind hearted helpful considerate person and was always ready to help others. I will always remember her with good memories. May her soul rest in peace. It is a true pleasure to have spent time with the Gotlund family while in Pentwater. Our time with Sandy and family has always been laugh filled and family focused. Sandy's love for her family was always evident.
We are unable to attend the funeral but hope you can feel our hugs to all of you, across the miles.

It was a pleasure knowing Sandy, I worked with her at Argonne for about 6 years before she retired. She was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Knowing Sandy these past 40 years has been a pleasure that I am so grateful for. She was just as much a member of our family as any of my siblings and I will miss her. We often talked about being a "mother of boys" and how wonderful it was. Our deepest sympathies to Dick, Rich, Rudy and all of the Gotlund family.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Sandy. I worked with her from about 1997 to 2009 at Argonne National Lab, and she was one of the high points of my experience there. She was one of those few rare and wonderful people who made the world around her a brighter place. And while I haven't had a chance to see her in about four years, I can still feel that this world is a little bit less without her in it.

So sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. May your wonderful memories give you comfort in this most difficult time.
