Richard Gotlund Obituary
Richard R. Gotlund, age 71, of Lemont, passed away September 30, 2016.
Retired from Ameritech/AT&T. He enjoyed vacationing with family, friends and loved ones in Pentwater, MI. He loved boating and fishing, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Beloved husband of the late Sandra, nee Niemiec, Gotlund; loving father of Rich A. (Jody) Gotlund and Rudie (Jamie) Gotlund; cherished grandfather of Bryannah, Noah and Bennett; dearest brother of Sharon (late Carl) Ahlberg and Robert (Jill) Gotlund; proud brother-in-law of Steve (Grace) Niemiec; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Lying in state Thursday, October 6, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 500 Lemont St. Lemont. Interment Bethany Lutheran Cemetery.

Dearest Rich, Rudie, Sharon, Bob, Jill and families, Dave and I cannot begin to express how heartfelt our sadness is for all of you. We loved Dick as family ourselves...I've known him for over 40 years, and I know he and Dave have enjoyed shareing many fishing stories over the years. Please accept our most sincerest condolences in your time of grief and I hope you can feel a little comfort in knowing that he is reunited with Sandy, the love of his life, his Mom and Dad, Butch and all his other loved ones who have gone before him.
