Sam Tomasello, Jr., passed away at the age 57. Beloved husband of Virginia "Gina", (nee Sisco).
Devoted father of Sammy and Michele (Mike) Starr. Loving son of Nancy, (nee Russano) and the late Sam Tomasello, Sr. Fond grandfather of Mikayla and Paige Starr. Dear brother of Joseph (Debbie) and Nancy (Andy) Fitros. Loving brother in law to Peter (Terry) Sisco, Rose (Ralph) Eme, Joe (Linda) Sisco, John (Jan) Sisco, Quentin (Peggy) Sisco and Mary Sisco. Dear uncle and great uncle to many.
Funeral Friday, July 25th, 2014, 9:00 am Family and friends are to gather directly at RUSSO'S HILLSIDE CHAPELS, 4500 ROOSEVELT ROAD, HILLSIDE, IL 60162 (LOCATED BETWEEN MANNHEIM AND WOLF ROADS) for a chapel service to celebrate and memorialize his life. Service will begin promptly at 10:00am. Entombment Mount Carmel Cemetery, Peter Sisco Family Mausoleum, Hillside, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th, 2014, from 3:00pm - 9:00pm. My condolences to Sam´s family he was a good neighbor I moved out of Berwyn in 2004 after living there for 11 years on 6828 riverside dr. Learned about his passing from another neighbor.

There are no words that can express how saddened we were to hear about Sam's death. What makes it so hard is that he was a wonderful husband and father and grandfather. May your memories of the happy times replace your tears and sadness.

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband/father.......we haven't seen you in years but when we were still living in Berwyn we had some fun times when the boys were playing baseball. My condolences to you and the family. I was just telling a friend that we don't have any time table as to when this is going to happen, it is all in God's hands and on His timetable. When He decides to call us home we have to go forth and began a new life in eternal happiness with the Lord. May you all find comfort that Sam is with the Lord in a beautiful, peaceful place free of pain, suffering and is enjoying all the things God has told us about. My prayers go out to you all.
