Rosanne McGovern, nee Cunningham, of Riverside, age 89. Loving mother of Mary (late Tom) Ilich, Meg (Scot) Crowell, John (Joanne), Maureen (Tricia Sulita), Rita (Mark) Domeier, Tom (Christy), Katie (Tim) Selover, and Lizzy (Sean) O'Brien; proud grandmother of 26; great-grandmother of three; dear sister of the late Jack (Dorothy) Cunningham, late Gerald Cunningham, late Marita (late Ed) Spirko and the late Bernard Cunningham; fond aunt of many. Rosanne was a resident of Riverside where she raised her family and a devoted member of St. Mary's Church. She was a foster mother to many. Rosanne was a Riverside Park District Board member and helped bring girls Little League to fruition. She was an inspiration to many. A La Leche Leader since 1961, a Girl Scout leader and an advocate for fathers in the delivery room. She loved; children, babies, books, history and art. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All to meet Saturday, April 5, 2025 at St. Mary Church, 126 Herrick, Riverside for a 12:00 p.m. Funeral Mass.
