Robert J. Webber, 81, of North Riverside, Illinois passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at his home.
Robert was born August 26, 1941, in Stambaugh, MI, son of the late Alex and Mary (Schad) Webber. After graduating from Amasa High School in 1959, Robert attended Michigan Tech. University for mechanical engineering. He married Marjorie Jacobinski on September 3, 1971, in Chicago, IL; she preceded him in death in 2017. Robert worked in the metal stamping and press industry for over thirty years. He loved all things automotive. From repairs to restoration, racing and collecting, automobiles were his passion. He also loved taking trips to the family home in Amasa, MI as often as possible.
Robert is survived by his son, Jack Webber of Sun Prairie, WI; a sister-in-law, Carla Webber; a niece, Jody; and a nephew, Jeff.
Along with his wife, Marjorie, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Webber.
Visitation was held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Nash Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. Funeral services followed at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Fr. Dan Malone officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
