Robert Pondelicek Obituary
Robert J. Pondelicek, age 74, of Countryside. US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Maxine. Loving father of Chris Pondelicek, Cyndy Pondelicek and Bob (Bere) Pondelicek. Devoted grandfather of Connor and Maddy Prokaski and Maxwell Pondelicek. Dear brother of Josephine (LeRoy) Jacobs. Fond uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Jim, Joe and Ed.
Robert was a 45 year resident of Countryside and served as a city alderman for many years.
A Funeral Mass was held Friday, June 3rd at St. Cletus Church in LaGrange.
Memorials in Robert's memory may be made to Support Our Troops.

To my Cousin Maxine and her family our condolences. Bob was a part of our family
and a wonderful husband and parent. He made a good politician for Coutryside.
He may be gone but he is not forgotten.

I was lucky enough to work with Bob as an Alderman on several commercial developments in the City of Countryside. I enjoyed working with him immensely and enjoyed his easy caring way. From what little I knew of him I could tell he was a very good man and very fair in his opinion and judgement.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family for his passing.

To Maxine and family are deepest sympathy on your loss. Bob was a great guy and will be missed. Just remember the good memories you've had together and know that
he is in a better place and not suffering.
He's with family and friends watching over you and your family. He may be gone but

Maxine,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I worked with Bob for many years at Xerox. I called Russ Olson in Naples, FL this morning to share the news with him. Unfortunately I don't know how to get in touch with Dieter Klagge or any of the people at BCBC that Bob worked with for many years.

To the family, I too worked with Bob for more years than either of us would probably like to claim, but in all those years Bob was always approachable and a big supporter of the city and its residents and he served them with distinction.
He will truly be missed!
