God bless you, Carol, and th Girls. I know your memories of Bob are warm and beautiful. His love continues in all of you. His gift to you.

I can only imagine you and the girls feel his loss every day. Praying that whenever you remember Bob, or your dear Dad, you "see" him in your mind and heart, it's with a warm smile.

Although time has passed our memories of your kindness and concern for others has not been forgotten. We miss your warm smile. You remain in our hearts and thoughts forever

I had just completed my voting for CTPF trustees and had sealed my ballot the morning of the RTAC Luncheon. Bob had my vote. I was surprised and saddened to learn of his loss.

My condolences to all members of his family, as well as his many colleagues and friends. I worked with him while I was a member of the Board of Directors of RTAC and broke bread with him at many RTAC and CTU retiree luncheons. He impressed as a decent, kind and gentle man. I will miss him.

I regret that I was unable to express my condolences in person. My sympathy to Carol and all of his family. Bob received many accolades in his life. He will be truly missed. Bob was always a gentleman and kind to everyone he met. He always had time to listen. Those who are no longer within the grasp of our hand have taken off their shoes to walk quietly in our hearts and in our thoughts. So he is not far away. We only need to listen. In my thoughts I shall always remember him as a kind gentleman who always had time to listen. Take Care

A devoted Chicago Public School retiree who was an elected official of the pension fund will be greatly missed.

How distraught we all are in having to give our sympathies to Carol and the family on the loss of Bob.

He was one of the closest friends I ever had and over more than four decades we shared so many experiences, common beliefs and thousands miles of travel.

What a loving husband to Carol and a great father to the kids. Such a marvelous professional, a sensitive guy who always knew instinctively what to say and what to do.
