I think of Pat everyday, his laugh and the talks we would have when he would come see me at Studio 31 and we would go to dinner. It is hard to believe he has been gone 12 years! Heaven got an angel that is truly missed everyday and always in my heart and I sure in his family and other friends he has touched. Miss you Patrick O'Connor!

Today is your birthday and I miss you more everyday. We brought each other through some bad times & enjoyed many more happy times together. You were not only my younger brother but my best friend & I will miss you until we are together again. Sleep in peace with no more pain & suffering. I love you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Pat's passing.
I knew him for a one year period when he was a young boy, and I played cards with his parents in Cicero.

To the family of Patrick O'Connor, I worked with Pat at Union Beverage Company and became friends with him and what a good friend and just a geniune person who always listened and laughed and gave good advice and boy I wish I knew all the suffering he really was in but he never really told any of us he just continued to be his happy go lucky self. I will miss him alot!!
My condolences go out to Pat's family may your memories of Pat bring smiles to your faces to ease the pain you are going through.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Regretfully, I was outside of the US or on the far side of the country for so many years that I missed so much of the enjoyment that I know he brought to so many. I loved his dry humor that seems to prevail amoung the "cousins". Nothing kept him down - but then he was always the bright side of things. Pat didn't have to worry about being in heaven before the devil knew he was there - he would have gotten a first class pass.

I met Pat and his family when Bob and I were married sixteen years ago. I feel lucky to have known Pat, and have enjoyed many family outings with Peggy, Rich, Mike, and Pat. This close, wonderful family have welcomed me with open arms, and shared many family stories and adventures. It would be difficult to quantify the sadness that each of them now feel with the passing of their brother. I loved watching the interactions of each of them....Peggy, the bossy sister who kept them all in order, and loved them to peices.
Rich, the funny brother-in-law, who was really a brother to Mike and Pat, and who gave them both untold grief about everything! Mike, the gentle one, who shared his beautiful and beloved daughter with the family, and who always worried about his brother, while tormenting him as much as possible. And Pat, ever suffering, never complaining, who loved life as much as he loved his family. I send my condolences, my sorrow, and my best wishes to all of you during this saddest of times.
Love ,

You were taken from us much too soon, Pat - - - but I'll always remember your smile and sense of humor as well as your quick and clever wit. The memories of the barbs and digs you traded with Mike and Richie will always bring a smile! Despite overwhelming medical difficulties, you lived with grace, dignity, and bravery. You were a cousin and a friend and I'll treasure the memories of our good times together. Sleep in God's hands.

My memories of Patrick go back to the days before Michael and I married. My thoughts about Patrick were "what a cute brother he has" and then I got to know him and he was much more than cute. Over the years, I kept in touch and Michael always informed me about dear Patrick. He has been through so much and now he can rest. My love and caring
to Peggy and her family and Michael who was so close to Patrick.

I remember Pat as "Chet", and what a friendly, happy, funny, generous, and kind person he was. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I will never forget going to Cub's games with him years ago. He was always a part of the family wherever he went. My sincere sympathy to all of the family and friends he left behind. He is in a better place now.
