Michael Pill Obituary
Dr. Michael P. Pill, age 88, of Westmont, formerly of Riverside and Longboat Key, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on December 11, 2015, after a long struggle with cancer.
WWII Navy Veteran and Honor Flight participant. Michael was an avid traveler but most enjoyed delivering babies and practicing Gynecology for 39 years at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Irene Pill, nee Vostal; dear father of Gregg (Patti) Pill and Kerry (Debbie) Pill; grandfather of Kevin, Michael and James Pill.
Visitation Wednesday, December 16, 2015, 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, December 17, 2015, 9 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield IL 60513. Funeral Thursday 9:30 A.M. to Our Lady's Chapel, Mayslake Village, OakBrook. Mass 10:00 A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Dr. Pill was my doctor for many years & when he retired I was heartbroken. He was a wonderful doctor who always put me at ease. Rest in peace.

Dr. Pill was my doctor for several years. He saved both my life and my mothers.We both had cervical cancer that he treated. God bless this talented doctor. He was kind,quirky, and a tribute to his profession.
