Melanie was such a wonderful woman. I will miss being across from her at the bridge table. She was an excellent player; a terrific partner. She was never critical or unkind. When she became a Life Master at duplicate bridge, she gave each one of her partners, that had helped her along the way to obtaining her goal, a single red rose and a public thank you to each of them at the bridge club. What a classy lady!! I am going to miss her so much. My deepest sympathies go out to her family at this very difficult time. Rebecca Shepherd
