I carry a handkerchief in my purse that Mary Jane gave to me when she finally decided to retire from substituting at Cossitt School. She sent lovely cards for every holiday to the school staff. We enjoyed her beautiful smile, her kindness toward the children and her love for all she met. She was a wonderful role model for all of us.

How great it was to know Mary Jane for so many years. From Queen of the Rosary's St. Christopher Guild in Elk Grove Village in the 50s through fun luncheon get-togethers in recent years. I'm so sorry to lose such a wonderful friend, and my husband, Guy, and I extend our heartfelt condolences to her family.

Mary Jane was a substitute teacher for me many times at Cossitt School. The kids LOVED her when she came in. She was so friendly every time she came to visit. She will be missed.

Dear Kathy, Mike and Kevin, I want you to know how special your mom was to me. I will always keep wonderful memories of her in my heart. She was so encouraging in my teaching, so sweet and most of all one of the most thoughtful people I was lucky enough to know. I will miss her, but take comfort in the thought that she is at peace now, and with your dad, in paradise. You have my deepest condolences. Love, your cousin, Pam
