Dr. Marlowe E. Reynolds of Berwyn daughter of the late Reynold and Beatrice Putz. Passed away peacefully, May 22, 2021 after a remarkably courageous and determined battle with cancer. Always an excellent student, Marlowe, after graduating from Morton High School attended Logan Chiropractic College, earning her degree of Chiropractic Physician. She opened a successful private Practice in Elmhurst and subsequently joined the Houser Chiropractic Center in Glenwood, IL, where she practiced for many years. Marlowe, with great foresight became an early and skilled proponent of the science of Acupuncture a field which she studied both in this country as well as in Germany and brought to her practice for the benefit of many. Her patients knew Dr. Marlowe to be intelligent, intuitive, talented, warm and trustworthy. All who knew Marlowe knew the love she held for her beloved pets; Ginger a Rhodesian Razorback and Mia, her very special Yellow Labrador Retriever. Left behind to mourn the loss of Marlowe is a devoted group of friends and colleagues. She is going to be particularly missed by the members of the extended Veitkus family who loved, and enjoyed being with her, especially on the holidays. Her dear and saddened friends include Sandy, Charlotte, Joy, Paula, Lill, Alice and Fran along with the several families who named her. "the very best of neighbors." Interment W oodlawn Cemetery.
