Marjorie Charlene Buettner
Marjorie Charlene Buettner went to the Lord on January 7, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born on June 24, 1935 in Melrose Park, Illinois to Charles Leo and Olga Emilie Berhold Buettner.
She was the sister of Thomas Lee (Phyllis) Buettner and the late Kathleen Ann Hamilton.
She is survived by three nephews, Mike (Mary) Buettner of Richmond, VA, Kevin Buettner of Grand Forks, ND, and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Hamilton of Louisville, KY and three great-nephews, Isaac and Samuel Buettner, and Taylor Hamilton and three great-nieces, Emily Buettner, Kamryn Buettner, and Hannah Lund.
Also to be remembered, are special friends Scott and Amy Curran, and Rita Vogel.
Marjorie was a lifetime employee of Sears Roebuck and Co. in Chicago. She enjoyed traveling to such places as California, Switzerland, and Nova Scotia. She will be remembered as a warm and caring person, always interested in family.
Visitation Saturday January 14th, 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main Street (1 Blk. So. of Ogden Ave.), Downers Grove, Illinois 60515. Interment Bronswood Cemetery. Information: 630-968-1000 or www.adamswinterfieldsullivan.com.
