Lynne Stefanik Obituary

Lynne A. "Alison" Stefanik (nee Halter), 57, a thirty-three year resident of Wheaton, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at home. She was born December 18, 1952 in Vincennes, IN and raised in Lawrenceville, IL. She received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Urbana, IL in 1975. She worked as an assistant to the Dean at West Chicago High School from 1978-1984. She then became a dedicated and hard-working full-time homemaker for her family. She is survived by her husband, Andrew, of thirty-five years; her daughter, Mandi; her son, Drew; her parents, Joseph and Georgia Halter; and her brothers, Michael and Mark Halter. Visitation Friday, December 3, 2010 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton (1 block east of Naperville Rd.). Funeral service Saturday 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Wheaton. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society.
