Kathleen Anderson Obituary

Kathleen 'Kathy' Beth Anderson
Born: April 30, 1948
Died: November 14, 2022
Kathleen "Kathy" Beth Anderson was born on April 30, 1948 to parents Don and Betty Schieler.
Kathy was promoted to Heaven on November 14, 2022, while a patient at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, as she was surrounded bedside by her husband Paul, sister Donna Elliott, daughters Amy Puccillo and Kelly Dobson, and son Mark. Kathy had been battling a very serious heart condition for over 5 months.
Kathy is survived by her husband Paul of over 54 years; daughter, Amy (Brian) Puccillo; son, Mark (Stefani) Anderson; and daughter, Kelly (Peter) Dobson; and sister, Donna (Donnie) Elliott. Kathy's 3 children provided 12 grandchildren, ranging in age from 6 to 22 years old and 1 great-granddaughter, Avalynn Daniels who is 5 months old.
Kathy loved all her family and was dearly loved by all her family. Kathy was a strong Christian woman who exhibited her love for the Lord by serving the Lord through all her various positions at three separate churches. She was highly respected for all her hard work with children at these churches. She loved teaching Sunday School to the kids aged 3 years old to 11 years old. Additionally, she was actively involved in the annual Day Vacation Bible School held each summer, as well as the Awana programs.
Her hobbies included reading strong Christian novels, leading women's bible studies, hiking with her 2 youngest grandsons, swinging in the backyard hammock with her grandkids, baking cakes or cookies for new neighbors, and starting conversations with newcomers at church. Kathy was all about people.
