Joanne M. Stevenson, age 91, long-time resident of LaGrange, passed away on September 4, 2024 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Joanne was born in Chicago to Roy and Sadie Kohler. She married Edward T. Stevenson, business owner of Stevenson's Custom Baths of LaGrange, Chicago, Yorktown, & Ford City. They raised their three daughters in the Chicago Suburbs. Joanne was active as an antique dealer in Chicago and the LaGrange area for many years. Joanne was the loving wife of the late Edward T. Stevenson, and devoted mother of Penelope (Karl) Pfizenmaier, Jane (James) Kincaid, & Ginger (William) Harrod. She was the beloved grandmother, or "Nana" to Jacob (Vanessa) Maier, Stefanie Pfizenmaier-Anderson, Amanda (Jason) Parolin, Behr (Katherine) Pfizenmaier, Tristin Kincaid, Edward Kincaid, Megan Kincaid, Isaac Pfizenmaier, and the late Seth Pfizenmaier. She was the caring great-grandmother to Ella, Karson, Griffyn, & Claire. She was the loving sister of the late Marjorie Jean Kohler and Mary Jane (Leon) Pyfrom. Joanne will be remembered in a private service at Mount Greenwood Cemetery.
