Today's funeral mass was a beautiful gift and tribute to Jill's and her memory.
It is evident that Jill was deeply loved and admired by her family and everyone who knew her.
We know that God's angels escorted her to heaven's gates where our Lord has opened his arms to welcome her home.

Our family is praying for Jills family. I will tell you she was my sweetest little peanut when she was in first grade and I was her lunchroom monitor. I knew she would continue her life with the sweetness and respect she showed as a first grader. Her children, husband and family knew this and her memory and kindness will always be in their hearts. To the Franklin and Saraceno families, I am so sorry to hear of Jills passing. My daughters first year as a Guidance Counselor at Morton, she was Jills assistant coach. I remember meeting Jill at a few practices, that is where I met her adorable children, at football games we used to talk, she made me feel so at home. She will truly be missed.

I will not be able to attend the services today, but send my deepest condolences to the family, friends, students, etc. of Jill. It was truly my pleasure to work in the same department as Jill albeit at another campus. She was an inspiration to us all in how to life a fulfilling life. And as we continue to do the things Jill loved, would make her proud, or make her smile, we carry Jill with all of us. After all, the ones that love us never really leave us (Sirius Black, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban).

I did not know Jill, she was a teacher at one of the Morton Schools that my son works at. I am so sorry for the loss of a wonderful friend/family of the Morton Community! I am sure she was loved by so many and her memories will go on and on! My heart hurts for her family, her children and friends.
