Not all of the balloons Jeff used would cooperate and would pop while he created animals and hats. His saying would be, “I’m glad I brought More Balloons!” After a few times saying that, the whole crowd would say it with him.

Jeff was a talented man and a great friend. Cubs games, magic shows, trips to the city or just hanging out those times I will truely miss. Through all the years we always keep in touch. He was uncle Jeff to my kids and a brother to me. May your magic live on in our hearts.God bless you my friend and your family.

Jeff and I met when he was 17. He had a great desire to be a magician. I worked with him, mentoring and encouraging. He progressed rapidly and I was able to help him find his first work as a magician at a restaurant. He did well and soon had spin offs to birthday parties. When he graduated high school, I urged him on to college. When an opportunity arose,he auditioned for school assembly work. A year later, I was able to help him get a season's shows, for a school assembly bureau. He did so well that he was invited back for another tour. He graduated college and did shows "on the side". When I became ill on a tour in South Dakota, he filled in for me. A year ago,he asked me about touring again. I suggested he call Dakota Assemblies. He did and was booked for another tour, his last. He died doing what he loved to do. I shall never forget Jeff. Rest in peace friend.

I am so very sorry to hear about Jeff. We worked together several years at the Washington State Univ. Registrar's office. He was a great friend and fun to work with. He alsways had a smile and good word for me. His magic tricks were always great to see. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed. My heartfelt thoughts are with all of his family at this time. Just remember all the fun times you had with him and this will keep his memory alive always.
Sincerly,

Jeff was like a brother to me. We first met at WSU in 1985. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. My children grew up with "uncle Magic Jeff" performing for their birthday parties. My 28 year old son said today "the fair will never be the same." He will be missed very much. Rest in peace, brother. We love you.

Jeff was a good friend of mine from the time he first started working at KWSU. We had many good times at the county fairs when Jeff was performing his magic shows and I was in charge of the sound equipment. He had a great laugh, enjoyed life and loved kids.
I Pray for Peace to Jeff's family.

I'm so saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. He was a dear neighbor and family friend. He did a lot for us. We were blessed to have his presence with us at Thanksgiving where he shared his magic talents with us. He was very friendly to the kids and played basketball with them and even set up a little baseball field in the street.
Our condolences to his family.
