To my Shawnie,
Words cannot express what you meant to me but I will try and share some here. From the day I was born you loved my with your whole heart and till the day you died I loved you with mine. I will forever cherish the special relationship we shared and never forget the memories that we made. You accepted me for who I am and I knew I could always call you to talk about anything. I wish that I would have lived closer over the years but distance between us could only be measured in miles. In our hearts and mind we were together and even now the distance will not let you leave my heart or mind. I love you an incredible amount.

Your beloved little darling,
Lauren

Farewell dear beloved friend of 50 years. The good times, laughter, and heartaches we shared gave us a special bond. Rest well, good lady. You'll watch our Cubbies in the series from a better place.

Shawnie,

Ill never forget all the good times we had. We may not have gotten along at times, but you were always proud of me and loved me for who I am. Ill never forget the times both you and grandpa and I shared together. You were always there from day one and I thank you for that. You always were sewing making me dresses, barbie and doll clothes. I loved them all and will make sure to keep them in memory of you. Ill never forget coming over to your house watching ER and having ice cream every Thursday. I really miss those days and wish I could have them back. Thank you for everything you've done. You taught me life lessons which made me the person I am today. You always told me, "Kris you have champagne taste on a beer budget". I love you very much and I will miss you like crazy.

Love always,

Your darling granddaughter Kris

Shaunie,

I know your smiling down on us in heaven with grandpa Bertaut. I'm so sad to see you leave, but relieved to know that your pain free in a better place. I will never forget the memories and laughs we shared. You were such a loving Shaunie, always the first to congratulate and share in my accomplishments. I'll forever live out your legacy and share memories of you with my future children. Maybe "next year" will actually be the Cubs year with an extra angel on their side in heaven. Rest in Paradise!

With all my love,
Michael Wilke

It started as Mrs Bertaut, my mom's friend and one of the Box Seat Broads and ended up to be my friend-Jeanie. Had many long talks with her and I will miss my friend. I'm sure she was met by my Mom and the other "Broads" as they, with us, wait until next year! My most sincere condolences to all of you. She and you will be in my prayers.
