I am grieved to hear about the passing of Jimmy. I heard the sad news at a retiree luncheon for Western/Lucent employees. I worked with him at Western Electric many, many moons ago. I also would go up to his cabin near Castle Rock Lake. My wife's parents had a home that was about 5 miles away from The Jim's. What a small world as Chris and I did not know one another while I was a guest at the 2 Jim's place. Chris's niece has a place about 2 miles from there and we go past the house on County Z at least once a year. By the way it is not as well kept as it was 35+ years ago.
We are so moved by the fact that Jim came to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior. We will also see him in eternity, Yeah God!

My Uncle JIm, my mother's brother, gave much time and good influence on my young life. I have vivid memories of him taking me on a fly in fishing trip to Canada where we spent several days fishing and canoeing. Hiking in the woods in Wisconsin around Castle Rock Lake. Too many things to number here but much remembered and valued greatly by me. Uncle Jim's part in my life formed me and is one great reason why I should have such enjoyment of the outdoors and even that I eventually moved to Alaska where I have been for over 27 years till present.
I rejoice in the thought that he had come to the Saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As one who had faith toward Christ he would be present with the Lord and some day I shall see him again after the dead in Christ shall rise again and we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall be caught up together and meet in the air as the Lord Jesus calls us up. This is all I can say now. I love my Uncle Jim, Robert,(Bobby)S. Pavlik
