Isabelle Bowden
Born: December 6, 1932 in Vintondale, PA
Died: June 1, 2025 in Downers Grove, IL
Isabelle Bowden, age 92, a long-time resident of Downers Grove died on June 1, 2025, surrounded by family. Belle was born in Vintondale Pennsylvania, on December 6th, 1932 to Kalman and Mary Antol. She married Jim Bowden in 1956. Mother to, Sheree Pottridge of Elgin, Illinois, Scott Bowden (Lori) of Flushing Michigan and Terri Paniagua, (Michael) of Plainfield, Illinois. Grandmother to Steve, Zach, Jacob, Emily and Alex. Great grandmother to Makenzie, Hunter, Nolan and Melody. She is survived by her two sisters Yolanda and Ethel. Belle was a devoted mother and adored her grandchildren. Belle dedicated herself to providing abundance of love and care in all ways to her family and friends.
Belle enjoyed volunteering at Faith United Methodist Church, playing cards, canning and spending time in their Northern Michigan home.
Memorial Service will be at Downers Grove First United Methodist Church on September 20th, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
