Howard Warden Obituary

Howard "Lefty" M. Warden, passed away. He was a WWII vet. Beloved husband of 66 years of Helen, nee Unlrich; loving father of Bill (Nancy), Bob (the late Debi), Debra (Tom) Gregoles, and Diane (Gary) Holzkopf; devoted grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 14; fond brother of Earl; also a niece and nephews. Mr. Warden was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Westmont, Post #9267 for 61 years. He served in the U.S. Army 9th Tac Air Command 2 years European Theatre. He worked at Western Electric for 42 years until he retired in 1982. Mr. Warden loved fishing, bowling and spending time with his family. Funeral Monday, August 10, 10:15 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien to Holy Trinity Church, Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
