My deepest condolences to the Millet family. Many found memories from Roosevelt, he was so full of life and always smiling. Taught us Romeo & Juliet with West Side Story, which is still my favorite. He was a kind man. Charise, class of 1998

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ed Millet. I first met Ed in graduate school at the University of Florida back in the 1960s and stayed in touch with him ever since. There is not "world enough and time" to mention here his many talents and the many ways he helped me personally. Briefly stated: He was a loving husband and father, a poet, a superior teacher, and most importantly, a good and decent man. I mourn the loss and offer my deepest condolences to his family.

I loved Mr. Millet! I learned so much from him: how to be a better reader, writer, thinker. He was funny and engaging and approachable: all wonderful qualities in a teacher. The school was fortunate to have him on the faculty. I am sorry for the family's loss but hope that you feel comforted by his legacy to all his students. Christine (Tina) Neal Class of 1979

I graduated from RFJH in 1975. Mr. Millet was my favorite teacher. He sparked a love of reading & writing in me no one else had. He was a wonderful teacher. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many.

In 1982 I graduated from Roosevelt Junior High in River Forest. After having Ed as my teacher, for the last 35 yrs he was my friend, mentor, and the kind heart and support I never got from my family. He has touched so many lives and inspired so many, it is fruitless to try and count. But including his children and granddaughter, I was blessed to get more from him as he got from us, and he will be deeply missed because he touched us so deeply. RIP and we are all happy that you are reunited with the love of your life Pat.
