Daniel Pradt Obituary

Daniel Jones Pradt

Gentleman Daniel Jones Pradt, on December 18th, 2018, age 82, passed on; one year, eleven months and nine days after the death of his wife, Helen.

He is survived by his two children, Karla and Louis (wife Catherine); five grandchildren Anthony, Noelle, Aeriel, Abigail and Lillian; great grandchild, Ryan; and his brother, Louis A. Pradt.

LTJG Pradt served two years in the US Navy. He was a resident of the Village of Glen Ellyn for 45 years. He enjoyed working with numbers, investing, studying the game of chess and he could always be found reading a good book. He had many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends all of whom admired Dan as a gentle, humble, intelligent, generous and kind man.

A memorial gathering will be held on January 5th at St. Mark's Episcopal Church (393 N. Main St. in Glen Ellyn, Illinois) at 10:00AM with a memorial service at 11:00 AM. A procession will follow to Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Dan's name (ref. #11495150) to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 1-800-822-6344.
