Barbara Horner Obituary
Barbara Horner, age 79, passed away October 1, 2016. Beloved Wife and best friend of the late Donald Horner; Loving Mother of Holly (Tim) Ryan, Tom (Lisa) Horner and the late Karen, Robert and Andrew Horner. Dear Grandmother of Nicole; Fond Sister of Linda Stephens and Paul (Patricia) Zarnikow; Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Private burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Because of Barbara's love of reading, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126.

I went to services today and it was perfect, down to the bird stickers on Barb's casket. Lovely pictures throughout the years along with slideshow was nice to see and ohhh so happy pictures of her with family and friends. Her smile was beautiful, contagious and so true. So glad we kept in touch after Bubba's♡ passing and remained friends throughout the years. The visits were always enlightening with stories, laughter and positivity :-) She had stamina for so long. I thank Barb and the entire Horner family, you all have a piece of my heart. Much love♡ xxxooo
My apologies for not making the Riley's gig, but had plans to travel down south to Bloomington to visit a friend. Glad I was able to see you all.

Going to Aunt Barb's house during my youth is one of my fondest memories.
Playing catch in the backyard and hiking through the woods. There was always some thing to explore. Aunt Barb was there with a kiss and hug when ever we returned.
