Zoe H. Frey
Zoe H. Frey, 96, formerly of Lutheran Manor, Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 in ManorCare Health Services I, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Leavitt F. Frey, who died in 1986. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., she was the daughter of the late Sydney C. and Kathryn M. (Wiltse) Proulx. Zoe worked for Laros Silk Mill and Bitronics until the early 1960s. She was an active member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Bethlehem. She was a past president of the AmVets Auxiliary, Bethlehem Chapter. Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Ardene S. Frey of Littleton, N.C.; three grandchildren, Cathy Frey Toler, Michael and Mark Frey; eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Zoe was preceded in death by her son, Col. Roger A. Frey, who died in 1998, and sisters, Mermon L. Tock and Betty A. Matthews.
