Yvonne O'Daniell Obituary

YVONNE E. O 'DANIELL Yvonne E. O 'Daniell passed away in High Point, North Carolina, on July 23, 2013, at 95 years of age. She was born in Watseka, Illinois on June 25, 1918, the only child of James and Nellie Shepherd. She graduated from Harlem Consolidated High School in Roscoe, Illinois, in the class of 1936. She married Noel D. O 'Daniell on November 24, 1937, and they went on to raise four children together first in Rockford, Illinois, and then in Wheaton, Illinois. She worked as a secretary at a local insurance company for many years, and later became owner and editor of Technifax Publications, which published Cutting Tool Engineering and Midwest Manufacturing magazines until her retirement. Yvonne enjoyed singing in the Winfield Senior Center Silvertones Choir, traveling around the world, and visiting with her family. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, Noel, her only son, Mark V. O 'Daniell of Orland Park, Illinois, and her youngest daughter, Kathleen Joy Coale of Decatur, Illinois. She is survived by two daughters, Janet E. Brown, and husband, Paul Weipert of High Point, North Carolina, and Peggy L. Olson, and husband, Roger E. of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Grandchildren: Tobin B. Brown, Treka S. Graney, Kristie Lupella and husband, Craig, Brandon O 'Daniell, Ryan E. Olson, Quinn E. Olson, Bret P. Coale and fianc?e, Bredina Haden, and Jason A. Coale and wife, Elana Kepner. Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Margaret (Molly), and Andrew Graney, and Shane, Kara and Riley Lupella. A memorial service will be held on August 11, 2013, at 2:00p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Wheaton, Illinois. Friends and family are invited to the memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Yvonne 's memory be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Wheaton, Illinois.
