Yvette Pearl Cooper was born June 5th, 1929 in Saskatoon, SASK. She lived in Cananda for 45 years, until she moved to San Mateo, California where she enjoyed the remainder of her days. While in Canada she was a credit manager for Sears, importing and exporting fine China. Yvette loved to dance, her passion was Irish Tap and Scottish Folk. She loved Canadian beer. Yvette enjoyed her time spent as a member of First Presbyterian Church in San Mateo and attending the San Mateo Senior Center. She loved interacting with people on 25th Avenue on her daily walks. Yvette loved being around animals, especially dogs. She was a daughter, a sister, a wife, an aunt, a mother to the four legged furry creatures and a friend to many. Yvette died peacefully on January 17th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Eddy Cooper (married in 1983); mother, Olive Viola Peacock; father, Thomas Covish; brother, Evan T. Covish; brother, Maurice C. Covey M.D; niece, Joy Covey. Yvette was survived by her brother, Mervyn J. Covey MD; sister in-law, Jennifer J. Covey; niece, Judy A. Collins; great grand nephew, Tyler; niece, Olivia J. Reese; nephew in-law, Justin A. Reese; great grand niece, Claire E. Reese; nephew, Myles T. Covey; and friend, NIcki Noelani Hernandez. A celebration of life and reception will be held for Yvette Cooper on August 11th, 2018 at 2pm at First Presbyterian Church on 25th Avenue in San Mateo.
