Winifred (Winnie) Jacquemard

SILVERTHORNE - Mrs. Winifred (Winnie) Jacquemard, 75, a resident of Silverthorne since 1987 died March 2nd, 2011 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She enjoyed skiing, hiking, camping, sailing, and especially working with and riding her horses while she lived in Boulder, CO from 1967 through 1987.

During that time she was the leader of a 4-H group that taught riding skills and care of horses. Her greatest love was spending time with her 5 children and their families.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard (Dick), Sons: Richard Jr. (Kelly), Bruce (Katarina), James (Amy), Daughters: Susan (Michael) Cavcey, Judith (James) McCarty, and Brother Vincent Relyea of Largo Florida.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Dorothea Relyea, grandson Jake McCarty A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday March 8th at Dillon Community Church, 371 E. LaBonte St. Dillon, CO.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bristlecone Health Services (Hospice), 18 School Rd, Suite 100, P.O. Box 1327, Frisco, CO 80443.

Dick, Sorry to read of your loss of Winnie. I often think of the fun times we all had with her, Sandi Relyea and the gang during the 60's at the IBM County Club. Mine and Dick's prayers go out to you and the family. God Bless
