WILLIAM A.
On Friday, December 6, 2002, at Arden Court in Jefferson Hills, William A. Wetzel, age 88, fomerly of Ben Avon and Franklin Park Borough. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Gray Wetzel. He is survived by loving children, Louise Ann Lakatos & her husband Michael of Shelby Twp., MI, and Craig G. Wetzel & his wife Gara of Baldwin Borough; a brother, Clyde E. Wetzel & his wife Mary of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, David M. Lakatos & his wife Doni of Royal Oak, MI, Daniel C. Lakatos & his wife Ami of Bozeman, MT, Susan L. Segerstrom & her husband Josh of Novi, MI, Craig W. Wetzel and Cristina M. Wetzel, both of Baldwin; and great-granddaughter, Erin Segerstrom. A 1933 graduate of Avalon High School and a 1937 graduate of Penn State University, Mr. Wetzel was retired from Commonwealth Sanitation Company where he served as an Entomologist. During WWII he served with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church. Friends invited Sunday Noon-3 & 7-9pm in the THE ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC. A GOLDEN RULE MEMBER FIRM. 1014 California Avenue Avalon, (North Boros), where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11:00.

So many loving memories of my childhood are entwined with the Wetzel family. My sympathy to Louise Ann and Craig and their families. I celebrate Bill's life as we note his passing as once again my heart is filled with my love for "Wetzie" and her family.
