Billy, although I didn't know you well, you were my friend on facebook.
I enjoyed reading your posts about finishing school to become a firemen. Then once you became a firemen, you seemed to love it so much! You appeared so very happy and I hope that gives your parents some peace knowing that. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers, God Bless.

I did not have the privilege to know Billy more than most or all of you; however, Billy gleamed his happy smile and warm personality on me at the very least every third day.

I have the great privilege and honor to state Billy was the most grateful and satisfied Paramedic Firefighter you could ask to work with or for.

His tragic accident leaves all of us a great hole in our hearts. We should all take his lead in dealing with adversity. Show our strength and support to his family members, his fire service family, and friends.

God Bless Billy, his entire family, and all those who loved and cared for him!

Those who mean the most to us
Are never really gone
For in our thoughts and in our hearts
Their memory still lives on
So may you find that passing time
Can somehow help to heal
Those memories will ease the loss
And sorrow that you feel
