Bill lived in Ava, MO for 18 years after moving from Illinois. He was a Boiler Installer and a master of anything mechanical. Bill enjoyed going floating at Vera Cruz, working on the farm, animals and spending time with friends. He was a son, father, brother and an Uncle. But, most of all a friend and a helping hand to all he met. Bill had nothing to give, but would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He is survived by his parents, two daughters Ashley and Nicole of Ava, MO, a son Scott Kamysz and wife Sabrina of Springfield, MO, three sisters, Kathy Tomlinson of Illinois, Karen Jaffke and husband Kim of Rogersville, MO and Krista Huth and husband Chip of Kansas City, MO, two brothers, Keith Kratky and wife Diane of Illinois and Kirk Kratky and wife Noelle of Santa Fe, NM., as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed by all and never forgotten. Services were on Wednesday March 5, 2008 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel, Ava, MO with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. Visitation was on Tuesday. Love offerings can be made to the Kratky Family at the Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.

Thank you to all who have sent their condolences and sympathies to my family. It is heartwarming to know how many had been touched by my brother.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
