Boze Harz was and is one of the truest friends I have ever had. We go back at least 50 years, to Summer Camp in Colorado where we were Square Dance partners to the art department at Principia College to living in Chicago in the 80's and 90's and having many common friends. I feel a deep sense of loss, yet comfort when I remember his qualities of humor, inventiveness, supportiveness, loyalty and helpfulness. I join his family at this time to pay special homage to him, and am comforted by my faith that life is eternal and that God had special tasks for him to complete.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of another Christian Scientist, gone way too soon. Sounds like he was a wonderful man, and I am sure his friends and family are all sad and missing him. I am so sorry for everyone's loss.

Boze and I go back to the early 70's at Adventure Unlimited Camps and then at our annual association in St.Louis. It was a real treat to gather with a few old friends from camp on those weekends and just refresh ourselves. He loved to talk about his family and especially the grandkids. Far too many good stories, and a stand up great friend. We will miss his presence, unless we open our thoughts and find him there. And see him smiling about the World Champion Cubbies.
