Kathy,
I too was saddened to hear of your dad's passing. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to meet him and see him on a few occasions. I remember the first time I met him he treated us to dinner at Marie Callender's. I was also touched that he remembered my quest for one of the 50 state quarters I'd been searching for (that was at your 50th birthday party), found it and had you send it to me. He was a sweet man and I am so sad for your loss. My heart goes out to you, Mike and the entire Dudley family.

I had the great honor and pleasure to work with Bill during my 30+ years with E&E and E&W, including several years when we worked together in the Western Region with Walter Beran. I benefited often from his wisdom, common sense and humor. I know how much Bill cared about his family and how much he and Norma enjoyed life. I am currently in Europe and may not be able to return for the Memorial Service, but please know that I will be thinking of you (and Bill) this Friday. Our sincere sympathies and condolences go out to you and your families.

I was saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. I have fond memories of Bill and Norma and remember well various escapades with their dogs. He had a joyful soul, and will be missed.

To the entire family, we send our condolences at Mr. Dudley's passing. As he takes his seat in Heaven, his presence will long be felt on Earth, living on through those he loved. May each of you gather comfort knowing he is being cared for by the Lord.
Kathy, we never met your Dad, but as long as we have known you, you have spoken of him regularly with heartfelt joy. We are glad you were blessed with such a good, kind, and fun Dad.
All of your fondest memories of him will endure in your heart! Should you have low moments, look there to rekindle the wisdom and strength your Dad shared with you over the years.
May you and your family members gather often and celebrate the love, laughter, and good times your Dad left you as a legacy.

Kathy, thank you for sharing this with me. My heart goes out to you and your family in the passing of your father. I love that last line in the obituary. It is so good to know that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life...and that your father is not dead, but Alive with Him. May the God of all comfort comfort your hearts (II Cor. 1:3-4). Blessings to you all.
