William "Bill" Howard Brown, age 84, of Englewood, Florida, passed away on June 27, 2022. He was born on April 16, 1938 in Elmhurst, Illinois where he was the owner of Prestige Nursery & Landscaping in W. Chicago, Illinois and Bartlett Nursery & Landscaping in Bartlett, IL. In 2000 Bill moved from West Chicago, IL to Englewood, FL where he owned the Venice Warehouse Complex in Venice, FL. He
was a member of the Venice Corvette Club and earned multiple awards for "Best in Show". Bill also earned multiple Landscape & Design awards in Illinois and was a member of the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association. Bill was an avid sports fan and had many connections with athletes, coaches, and managers.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Brown of Englewood, FL; children, Scott (Tracy) Brown and children, Daniela & Serena of Palm Desert, CA; Tod (Crystal)
Brown and their children, Arianne & Zane of Winter Park, FL; Christine Wallner of Englewood, FL and her children Sabrina (Jeff) Gordon, Vanessa (Ole) Becker; Adam (Megan) Geroulis, and great grandsons Miles & Sawyer; Alan (Rosie) Wallner, and their children Elizabeth, Alexandria, Erin of Minnetonka, MN, Joan (Kristen) Wallner of Water Town, MN; Philip Wallner, and his children , Grace,
Grant, and Allison of Glen Ellyn, IL. Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Hoffman and his parents, Ruth (nee Baker) & Howard Brown.
