Wayne Dunn Obituary
Wayne Lee Dunn, 73, of Crozet, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Charlottesville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born September 20, 1936, in Waynesboro, the son of the late Gurney L. and Ann E. Robertson Dunn.
Wayne was retired from Con Agra Foods with 38 years of service and was an Army veteran. He loved to hunt, fish, dance and spend time with family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Gibson Dunn, and his sister, Patricia Dunn.
Wayne is survived by one son, Michael Dunn of Crozet; three daughters, Miranda Dunnemann of Evington, Brenda Rosalez of Crozet, and Annie Dunn of Nelson; one brother, Jerry Dunn and his wife, Dee, of Waynesboro, and one sister, Sherry Dunn of Chesterfield; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2009, at Rockgate Cemetery, Crozet, conducted by Pastor Scott Conrad.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2009, at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 961 Goose Creek Road, Fishersville.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 3000, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
