I attended Downers Grove Community High School (now DG North) from September, 1956, through June, 1960. I played football all four years, so I played for Coach Holbrook for my last two seasons. I remember Coach Holbrook to be a caring, dedicated sportsman, a man for whom I was honored to play. I went on to teach and counsel in high schools for thirty-eight years. People like Coach Holbrook were my inspiration to enter the profession and my models throughout my career. Please accept my sympathies; your family is diminished in your lose.
