Wanda T. Pechous, nee Sztuczko, age 95, of Elmhurst, member of Visitation Parish, CCW member, rectory office volunteer, former employee of Boy Scouts of America, East Central Region; former student at St. Tarcissus Grade School, Holy Family Academy and Bryant & Stratton Business Institute, accomplished pianist and USO hostess during WWII; beloved wife of the late Laddie J.; loving mother of Joan (William) Schmitt, Daniel (Jeanette) Pechous and the late Susan Bravieri; proud grandmother of Steven (Stephanie) Bravieri, Julie (Cesar) Chirinos, Jeffrey (Beth) Bravieri, Valerie, Michael (Yuko) and Peter (Mary) Schmitt, James and Robert Pechous, Katherine (Christopher) Risch, Theresa (Marc) Hamilton and Elizabeth Pechous; cherished great-grandmother of Nathan, Elizabeth and Eleanor Bravieri, Rachel, Natalia, Alexander and Victoria Chirinos, Anthony and Katelyn Bravieri, Mia Schmitt, Cody and Sophie Schmitt, Wyatt and Owen Schmitt, soon to be born baby "Pineapple" Risch and the late Richard Chirinos; dear sister of the late Chester (Lillian), Dorothy and Stanley Sztuczko, Jr.; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60607.
