Dearest Wally,
You will always be the love of my life. I will miss all the special moments we shared, your laughter, your contagious smile, your humor, the love you have for your family, your instant wisdom and the genuine caring and giving of yourself to others. Holidays were your special season, the holiday decorations, holiday cooking together. You taught me patience and strength. God took you from us to soon, but I know one day we will meet and will complete our final journey together. I will remain the love of your life, your significant other and your life long partner. You are forever in my heart.
Love,
Judy

Dear Dad,
I'm so lucky to ever have such and an amazing man and father in my life. You gave nothing but unconditional love and laughter. You never judged, you just listened. You always believed in me and always seemed to know just when I needed your help. I'm going to forever miss our breakfast coffee dates and your big hugs. Thank you for not just being a father but the best dad a girl could ask for. I love you and will forever miss you!

Dear Wally,
I can't believe I will never again hear your laughter; you were always the life of the party. But you were also a generous, kind-hearted, hard-working family man. I miss you, big brother and friend.
Love, your sister Karen

I worked together with Wally at the Chicago BMC. He really cared about the Postal Service. Wally was good friend who helped me with my job at the BMC. I was surprised and saddened at his passing. My prayers for him and his family.

To the Zobel family, I was SO saddened to read about Walter's passing. I attended Stevenson School in Melrose Park with him K-8th grades. Dearest Wally,
You were a kind and caring neighbor. I will miss your daily wave and smile. You were always there to give us a hand. My kids all loved you. The boys used to love the snow ball fights over the fence during winter. You were truly a great family man.
Judy, please know that if you and your family need anything we are always here and ready to help.
With our deepest sympathy,
Steven, Lisa, David, Joey, Sarah and Amanda
