Walter Dyer Obituary

Walt was my mothers first cousin (Tiny. Oney. Rayburn. Maupin). Mom loved him and was always proud to be related. Madge maupin Haney. Ashland Kentucky.

Very sorry to hear of Walt's passing. He was a kindly Kentucky gentleman, had a lovely sense of humor and much motivation to improve his health. I truly loved spending time with him.

To Wini and your family ~ Those of us on your high school web site in Columbia also knew that you were still in love with your Walt, of 50 years of marriage. Wini you came onto the U-High web site after most members had registered, but once you arrived, you brighten our web pages with a wonderful bio and an incredible thumbnail photo. Of course you had help from your daughters. You & Walt are a product of an incredible generation of the 1940,s ... full of hope, determination, and curiosity. We love you, Wini and send our condolences on the loss of your Walter.

John and I send our sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your dad. Although we didn't know him, he sounds like a wonderful man who will be missed by many. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

We had such fun in Waldwick with you all. He was a great neighbor with his sense of humor, ideas, the fudge he made (on occasion) and rushing out to the carpool or bus!

There will always be a tear in your hearts and you will always wish Walt was with you. This is such a sad time, but I'm so glad for the happy memories that you will alwayw have to share and help keep you going. Uncle Walter is my Mother's(Barbara Dyer Crow) half brother. I never met him, but I am very sorry to hear of your passing and my prayers go to the family.
